Servicing the Neon DUOS MAXI WCSM/WH Electric Boiler After 1 Year of Use

The wall-mounted dual-circuit electric boiler Neon DUOS MAXI WCSM/WH

18-30kW designed for heating and hot water supply. The boiler is completely silent. The DUOS maxi dual-circuit electric boiler contains everything necessary for a modern heating and hot water system in its compact housing.

This boiler kit includes:

• Flat expansion tank with a 7-liter capacity from Zilmet (Italy);
• Pressure relief valve to protect your pipes and boiler from high pressure;
• Automatic air vent - effectively removes airlocks from the heating system (located at the top of the boiler);
• Thermo manometer for visual monitoring of the temperature and pressure of the heat transfer fluid in the heating system;
• Capillary thermostat for smooth temperature regulation;
• Three-speed circulation pump of European production.

The boiler is equipped with stainless steel heating elements, two power levels with thyristor switching, ensuring noiseless operation.

For hot water supply (HWS), there is an independent stainless steel heat exchanger with a separate set of heating elements. There is a pressure relief valve and a water flow sensor, allowing the heating elements to be activated when the tap is opened.

Boiler Operation Principle in "Heating" Mode

Cold water is supplied by the pump through the lower pipe to the tank, heated by the heating element, and then sent to the heating system through the outlet pipe. The temperature of the heat transfer fluid is set by the thermostat for manual temperature control and is monitored using a thermometer. The control panel also has three power level buttons for the boiler in "Heating" mode. The specified heating temperature is maintained automatically.

When the HWS tap is opened, the boiler's automation switches off the heating of the heat transfer fluid in the heating system and activates the instant water heater element block. The controller of the instant water heater independently determines the optimal power level for the heating elements. After closing the HWS tap, the boiler automatically returns to the previously set mode.

"Summer" Mode of Boiler Operation

Allows you to completely turn off the heating of the heat transfer fluid in the heating system and the circulation pump. In this mode, only the instant water heater can operate after opening the hot water tap.

For more convenient HWS use, the boiler in standby mode heats the water in the instant water heater tank to 40 degrees Celsius and maintains this temperature in all boiler operation modes.
